This year’s Ryder Cup takes place at Celtic Manor, Wales and approximately one billion people are expected to tune in to see if Team America can repeat its 2008 performance.

“The Ryder Cup: A History of Golf’s Greatest Match” is an authoritative up-to-date chronicle of this fascinating event. It charts the spirited early years in the 1920s when only the British Isles took on the USA – in what was regularly a one-sided New World affair – through to the gladiatorial modern-day epics and the inclusion of Europe.
